Information involved

Our hosting infrastructure may process basic logs such as IP address, browser type, requested path, time and diagnostic security events. Necessary local storage records your cookie choice. If you email us, we receive your address, message and any information you choose to include.

Sponsored links may include affiliate identifiers so a qualifying purchase can be attributed. Advertising or Taboola identifiers may be added later. They load only after you accept marketing cookies.

Purposes and consent

We use limited data to deliver and secure the pages, remember choices, answer correspondence, diagnose faults and understand affiliate attribution. Necessary functions operate without optional consent where permitted. Analytics or marketing technologies remain off unless you accept them through the cookie banner.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use this site to collect payment or create learner accounts.

Service providers and location

Authorized hosting, security, email and technical providers may process information only to support their services. Site data is intended to reside in Canada. Sponsored links take you to Preply, which applies its own privacy terms and may operate in other countries.

Retention and safeguards

We retain information only as long as reasonably required for the stated purpose, legal obligations, security or dispute handling, then delete or anonymize it where practical. Administrative and technical safeguards are proportionate to the limited information involved, but no internet transmission is risk-free.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we control, subject to lawful exceptions. You may also withdraw optional consent. Email the privacy contact above; we may need to verify the request without collecting more information than necessary.

If a concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada through its official website.

Children and external sites

This site is directed to adults and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly seek children’s personal information. Links to Preply and other sites open services with their own terms and privacy practices.
